Liverpool confirm deal as four-goal teenager pens terms

Liverpool have confirmed that Ranel Young has signed his first professional contract with the club.

The 17-year-old has recently completed his maiden season with the under-18s. He plundered four goals and one assist in 19 appearances.

Signed from Huddersfield Town as an under-12 player, Young also played five times for the Reds’ under-19s in their run to the UEFA Youth League quarter-finals.
