Hide AdHorta’s current contract with the Portuguese club doesn’t expire until 2026, though it is thought that it will only cost Liverpool around €20 million to secure his signature - significantly lower than his €30m release clause.
It is no secret that the Reds are in the market for a new attacker this month, with star duo Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane jetting off to the Africa Cup of Nations after today’s match against Chelsea.
Arsenal are also looking to add some competition to their side, with the likes of Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe impressing so far this season.
Who is Ricardo Horta?
Ricardo Horta has become one of the most sought-after talents in Portuguese football since his switch from Malaga to Braga in 2017.

Horta has already bagged 12 goals and five assists in all competitions this season, including the winner against Ludogorets in the Europa League.
The Portuguese star turned down a move to USA last summer following a €15 million bid from Atlanta United.
