Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp provides Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain injury update ahead of Arsenal semi-final

Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain picked up an ankle injury in Liverpool’s 3-0 victory over Brentford.
Oxlade-Chamberlain netted the Reds’ second goal at Anfield with a fine diving header in the 69th minute.

Hide AdHowever, the midfielder was withdrawn only five minutes later after receiving treatment. He was replaced by James Milner.
Klopp admitted Oxlade-Chamberlain rolled his ankle and is unsure of the severity of the issue.
He’s seemingly now doubtful for Thursday night’s Carabao Cup semi-final second leg at Arsenal.
Liverpool manager Klopp said: “It was something with the ankle, he rolled his ankle.

“It’s absolutely too early (to say if it’s a serious injury). I have no idea, don’t know.
“He did absolutely nothing wrong, nobody did anything wrong. It just happened.
“It would have happened to anyone, really. Let’s wait, we don’t know anything about it so we have to wait.”
