Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will miss Sunday’s Premier League match against fellow title-challengers Chelsea after returning a suspected positive COVID-19 test result.

Klopp, who reported mild symptoms ahead of the fixture, is now isolating, the club have confirmed.

The Liverpool first team have been tested and no further positive cases - beyond the three unnamed players mentioned by Klopp in Friday’s pre-match press confrenece - have recorded a positive result.

However, three backroom staff members have returned suspected positive results.
