Liverpool have been linked with a big-money summer move - but could face competition from some Premier League rivals.

The Reds have already been linked with a host of players ahead of the next trading period, with reports suggesting they are eyeing a number of options across the park.

And the latest reports suggest several deals are in the pipeline, from eye-catching captures to free agent signings.

Liverpool eye £35million-rated midfielder

Liverpool have been linked with a summer move for RB Leipzig midfielder Christopher Nkunku.

Nkunku remains under contract with the German side until 2024, but is attracting interest from a number of Premier League sides.

ESPN claim that the Reds are joined by Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham in the race for the French youth international.

Reports last year suggested that Leipzig had set an asking price of around £35million for Nkunku, but that could yet be driven up as he continues to impress in the Bundesliga.

Paulo Dybala boost as Premier League sides circle

Liverpool are one of a number of clubs who have been linked with a summer move for Juventus striker Paulo Dybala.

The Argentinian international sees his contract in Turin expire at the end of the current season and, despite speculation that he would extend his stay in Italy, he is yet to put pen to paper.

Juventus are said to be keen to extend his stay until 2026, but the parties are struggling to agree on his salary.

That has put a number of clubs on red alert, with Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester City and Inter Milan all credited with an interest.

And Tuttomercato now claim that the sides eyeing Dybala have been handed a ‘boost’ - with contract talks having stalled.

While a meeting between Juventus and Dybala’s representatives is said to be scheduled for the end of the month, for now the door remains open for potential suitors.

Liverpool monitoring Bayern Munich midfielder

Another player set to become a free agent in the summer is Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso.

And Calciomercato report that Liverpool could be considering a move for the 27-year-old.

Tolisso joined Bayern from Lyon in a £35million in 2017, but injuries have prevented him from gaining regular football in the Bundesliga.

The report suggests that Bayern still ‘intend’ to offer him a new contract, but that Liverpool continue to keep tabs on the situation ahead of the summer transfer window.

John McGinn latest after Anfield move mooted

Liverpool have long been linked with a move for Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn - but could be dealt a blow in their pursuit.

That’s according to reports from the Mirror print edition, which states that the Reds have been joined by Manchester United in the hunt for the 27-year-old.

But Villa are loathe to lose the 27-year-old, and the Mirror report suggests that they could offer to extend McGinn’s current contract - which doesn’t expire until 2025 - by a further two years, while making him one of the club’s highest earners in a bid to ward off outside interest.
