Hide AdLiverpool’s 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League was blackmarked by the injury to Roberto Firmino.
The Brazilian limped off in the second half with a hamstring issue.
Klopp’s confirmed Firmino will be out for more than a month with his problem.
He said: “Losing Bobby Firmino is a blow but that’s how it is. We’ve known for two or three days it’s a serious injury.

Gomez latest
Joe Gomez missed the Atletico game with a calf problem.
He’ll be absent for West Ham but shouldn’t be out for too much longer after the international break.
Klopp said: “Joe, hopefully soon after the international break.
‘Weird’ Jones issue
Jones also will not travel to the capital.
He has an eye injury he suffered in training and is still not allowed to return to the grass.

Keita and Milner
Klopp also hopes hamstrung duo Naby Keita and James Milner will also be back to action after the international break.
He said: “We will see. I have hope for after the international break but I don’t know exactly.
“It’s two weeks and a few days and that’s what I wish for. I can’t promise that but that’s what we’re working on.”
Tsimikas v Robertson

Hide AdKostas Tsimikas came in for a start against Atletico, replacing Andy Robertson at left-back.
The Greece international impressed down the flank but Klopp hinted “best in the world” Robertson still firmly remains first choice.
He said: “Kostas has a lot of quality. He’s pushing Andy Robertson, but Andy Robertson, from my point of view, is the best left-back in the world.
“What’s good is we can give Robbo a rest, even though he doesn’t like it and need it. But you need these quality players.

“He needed to adapt to the things we do but that process is done. He’s a really good player and we’re happy to have him.”
