The striker was substituted at half-time due to swelling and was replaced by Roberto Firmino.
Klopp revealed that Jota will be absent against Norwich and is unsure of the extent of his injury.
The Reds boss said: “No he will not be available. It is still not clear, we need further assessment.

“We have to wait. Everyone saw the picture of him in a boot, it’s a normal procedure. But for the weekend, no.”
Salah close to landmark
Mo Salah can take his Liverpool goal tally to 150 if he scores against Norwich.
The Egypt international has been a remarkable signing since his arrival in the summer of 2018 from Roma.
Klopp called Salah’s 149 goal haul ‘insane’.

“The number speak for themselves - absolutely insane. When you say 150, I thought it was only recently we spoke about 100.
“It’s a massive number and hopefully he can do it tomorrow.”
Kelleher cup final outing
Caoimhin Kelleher will start the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea next weekend.

Klopp has no plans to give Kelleher a run out before the Wembley encounter, though, and Alisson Becker will continue between the posts.
Klopp said: “He’s used to it. He always plays when he’s not playing before. He’s used to it no plans.
“Hopefully we don’t have to do it. Not that I don’t trust him but that means something to Alli and I hope that not to happen.”
