Liverpool star 'could be really interesting option for several clubs' ahead of summer transfer window
Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones is set to enter the final year of his contract and his future remains precarious.
Inter Milan remain keen on Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones ahead of the summer transfer window, reports suggest.

Jones is set to enter the final year of his Reds contract and may have a decision to make on his future. The midfielder is a born-and-bred Liverpudlian and has come through the academy ranks at his boyhood club.
But Jones could look to depart in a bid for more regular action. This season, he has made 45 appearances in all competitions, although he’s started only 14 Premier League games. Jones has featured from the outset in the past two matches - wins over Everton and Crystal Palace - having operated as a makeshift right-back.
Inter Milan displayed an interest in signing Jones during the January transfer window, although Liverpool did not entertain an exit. But according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Serie A champions-elect still covet Jones.
Romano said on the Here We Go podcast: “Curtis Jones is out of contract in Liverpool in summer 2027. At the moment, to my understanding, there is no agreement to sign a new contract.
“At the moment, everything is on total standby between Curtis Jones, his camp, and Liverpool. And so be careful with this situation because several clubs are tracking Curtis Jones.
“There was interest from the Premier League already in the January transfer window. There was also interest from Inter Milan in Serie A in January, and I think Inter remain keen on the player.
“So there could be movements around Curtis Jones. You can imagine an important midfielder like him out of contract in 2027 could be really interesting option for several clubs.”
Recently speaking on Jones and suggestions he’d have liked more minutes this season, Liverpool head coach Arne Slot said: "Since I am the manager he plays much more minutes than he ever did before. That's down to me liking the player and the fact our squad has become smaller, mainly because of injuries.
"That means the same players have to share the playing time because we went to the quarter-finals of the Champions League and the FA Cup. If you have a lot of injuries, then in the top 25 there are five or six players of ours with the most minutes played.
"Curtis played a good game against Everton, although now all of a sudden everybody had a good game because we won.
"I can tell you we played much better games when we have lost or drawn. But that's how football works - if we win then everybody played a great game, and if we lose then it's all s***."
