Liverpool aim to continue their perfect start to their Europa League campaign when they welcome Toulouse to Anfield on Thursday (20.00 BST).
The Reds are favourites to win Europe’s second-tier competition - and that status appears justified so far. Jurgen Klopp’s side have won their opening two Group E fixtures against LASK and Union SG respectively. And a third successive triumph will see Liverpool edge closer to qualifying for the knockout stage.
The Reds have also been in fine form in the Premier League, having recording a 2-0 triumph against Everton in the Merseyside derby last Saturday. Klopp is likely to make changes from that line-up to face a Toulouse side who are 10th in Ligue 1. Les Violets are second in Group E, having taken four points so far and an upset at Anfield would see them leapfrog the Reds in the bid to finish top of the pool.
