Liverpool's 5-1 thrashing over Sparta Prague in the Europa League last night perfectly set them up to qualify for the quarter-finals, but it also saw them hit a historic milestone.
The victory saw Darwin Nunez clinch the 1,000th goal since Klopp arrived at the club and the craziest statistic to take from it is that Liverpool's 900th scorer was Dominik Szoboszlai earlier this season. It shows the Reds have been rampant this season but, given the achievement, we've decided to look back on the top 10 moments from Klopp's tenure - and there are certainly plenty to choose from. What's your standout moment?
5. 6. Salah's header rounds off an unstoppable attack vs Man City (2019)
Liverpool and City have played out countless standout encounters in the Klopp-era but this Salah header was as destructive as any goal. A long-ball from Trent with his weaker foot set Andy Robertson on his way, before his curled cross bounced perfectly for Salah to head the ball on the run - without breaking stride - to give his side an unassailable lead. The fact it only took two passes to break through was as incisive and direct as it can be and it showed the dominance Liverpool had that season as they romped to the PL title over Manchester City.
6. 5. Origi settles the Merseyside Derby (2018)
Origi had many iconic moments but his late tap-in to settle the Merseyside Derby was one of the sweetest. Van Dijk's late effort sliced high into the sky which looked to be heading for a goal kick. But the ball swirled in the sky and Pickford looked concerned; he leapt up to deal with the ball which landed on the crossbar and his intervention spilled it into Origi, who applied the finish from a yard. Klopp stormed the pitch to celebrate with Alisson as Jamie Carragher yelled 'Look at Jurgen Klopp' on commentary in a truly excitable and dramatic moment.
7. 4. Dejan Lovern vs Borussia Dortmund (2016)
Lovern's header at the back post ensured Klopp's side completed a famous comeback at Anfield after going from 1-3 down on the night (4-2 on aggregate) to 4-3 in what was a taste of things to come. They went onto lose in the final to Sevilla but it was a special moment nonetheless.
8. 3. Alisson Becker nods home against West Brom (2021)
In a season filled with injury issues, Liverpool's top four hopes looked slim. However, the incredible header from Alisson, which was finished like a seasoned striker, was one of the most shocking, surprising and brilliant moments that we saw under Klopp. It helped them clinch UCL football before going onto reach the final the year after.
