This is how the Premier League table would look if VAR wasn’t involved this season

Liverpool and Everton have three games remaining in their respective Premier League campaigns as they face differing priorities until the end of the season.

The Reds’ hopes of securing a top-four place have increased in recent weeks as they now sit three points behind Newcastle United in third and one point adrift of Manchester United in fourth.

Both clubs have played a game fewer than Jurgen Klopp’s side, however, with Liverpool needing a perfect finish to their season and for one of the sides below them to drop more points.

On Monday, Everton moved out of the bottom three with a shock 5-1 win at Brighton and their survival fate is now firmly in their own hands. But how might things look this season if VAR did not get invovled in games?
