We’re approaching the halfway stage of the 2021-22 Premier League season.
The race for the title remains wide open at this point, with three teams realistically in contention.
Reigning champions Manchester City lead the way at the top of the table on 44 points, with Liverpool three points in behind.
Chelsea are a further three points in arrears of the Reds.
There will be plenty of twists and turns to come, although Liverpool are out of action on Boxing Day after their game with Leeds was postponed because of COVID-19 cases in the Whites’ camp.
Unsurprisingly, all three clubs who’re chasing the silverware make up the Team of the Season so far.
Stats experts CIES Performance Index have out together an Opta-powered XI, which only features players from City, Liverpool and Chelsea.
