Things spotted during Liverpool win vs Leeds United as 12 photos show Reds at scintillating best
The Reds gave their title hopes a significant boost against their lacklustre visitors
Liverpool moved to within three points of Premier League leaders Manchester City on Wednesday evening thanks to a comprehensive 6-0 win over Leeds United.
The Reds put in a relentless display to compound the Whites’ own relegation worries, with Mo Salah and Sadio Mane both scoring braces, and centre-back pairing Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk also finding the back of the net.
Jurgen Klopp’s men were three goals clear by the interval, and pressed home their supremacy with another three strikes in final ten minutes to register their ninth consecutive win in all competitions.
We’ve taken a look back at last night’s action to pick out the best moments, and a few you might have missed as well.
