1. Virgil van Dijk - out
The Liverpool captain must serve an extended ban for using abusive and insulting words towards match officials when sent off against Newcastle.
2. Trent Alexander-Arnold - out
The Reds vice-skipper is sidelined after he limped off with a hamstring injury against Villa.
3. Conor Bradley - out
If Alexander-Arnold is sidelined then Liverpool will not be able to call on Bradley to deputise as he is out with a stress fracture in his back.
4. Thiago Alcantara - out
The midfielder hit a minor setback in his recovery from hip surgery in April. He was not spotted in training on Thursday.
