A Knowsley takeaway has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Kirkby Kebab House, a takeaway at 25 Broad Lane, Southdene, Kirkby, Knowsley was given the score after assessment on March 31, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Knowsley's 110 takeaways with ratings, 54 (49%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
