Food hygiene ratings given to two St Helens restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of St Helens’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of St Helens’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

GDK, at 2 Highpoint, St Helens was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 24.

And Shere Khan Restaurant and Takeaway, at 77 Liverpool Road, St Helens was given a score of two on May 24.

It means that of St Helens's 215 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 133 (62%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
