New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of St Helens’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of St Helens’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Chipmunk, at 86 Higher Parr Street, St Helens was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 24.

And The Great Wall, at 74 Pocket Nook Street, St Helens was given a score of one on November 24.

It means that of St Helens's 175 takeaways with ratings, 53 (30%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
