New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of St Helens’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of St Helens’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Moss Bank Express, at 17 Dalehead Place, St Helens was handed a one-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 12.

And Geno’s Kebab and Pizzaria, at 23 Duke Street, St Helens was given a score of zero on January 12.

It means that of St Helens's 178 takeaways with ratings, 55 (31%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
