A St Helens takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Sutton Village Chippy, a takeaway at 39 Peckers Hill Road, St Helens was given the score after assessment on October 23, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of St Helens's 180 takeaways with ratings, 62 (34%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
