A St Helens takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A St Helens takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Billinge Spice, a takeaway at 192 Main Street, Billinge was given the score after assessment on March 3, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of St Helens's 171 takeaways with ratings, 49 (29%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
