A St Helens takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Tanyas Tearoom, a takeaway at Caterers Clock Face Miners Club, 37 Crawford Street, Clock Face was given the score after assessment on June 21, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of St Helens's 174 takeaways with ratings, 51 (29%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
