New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Wirral’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Wirral’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Chick'N Hut, at The New Palace, Marine Promenade, New Brighton, Wirral was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 10.

And Mill Lane Fish & Chips, at 59 Mill Lane, Liscard, Wirral was given a score of four on April 5.

It means that of Wirral's 342 takeaways with ratings, 134 (39%) have ratings of five and just six have zero ratings.
