More than 70 Wirral streets to host street parties for King Charles’ coronation - full list of road closures

More than 70 streets across the Wirral will close this weekend, as royal fans celebrate the coronation of King Charles III.

Queen Consort Camilla will also be crowned following the main coronation ceremony, which will be the first coronation to take place in the UK in almost 70 years.

The historic ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 6, at Westminster Abbey in London, almost nine months after Charles became King, following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

71 Wirral roads are set to close, as the streets become filled with local residents attending outdoor parties.
