A Wirral drinking establishment has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Red Buddha, a pub, bar or nightclub at 1st Floor 34-42, Conway Street, Birkenhead, Wirral was given the score after assessment on November 2, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Wirral's 223 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 154 (69%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
