A Wirral drinking establishment has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

21st Amendment Hoylake, a pub, bar or nightclub at 5 The Quadrant, Hoylake, Wirral was given the score after assessment on June 28, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Wirral's 220 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 157 (71%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
