A Wirral takeaway has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

New Oriental Stir Fry, a takeaway at 20 Queen Street, Tranmere, Wirral, Merseyside was given the maximum score after assessment on February 1, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Wirral's 337 takeaways with ratings, 138 (41%) have ratings of five and just seven have zero ratings.
