A Wirral takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Fry & Go, a takeaway at 33 Argyle Street, Birkenhead, Wirral was given the score after assessment on March 15, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Wirral's 342 takeaways with ratings, 142 (42%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
