For years now, Boxing Day has been the best day for people all across the UK flock to the shops to find incredible bargains from all their favourite high street retailers.

After COVID-19 restrictions last year, and uncertainty this year, many retailers are opting to close their stores on the big day.

However, some have already launched their huge sales. Potentially in anticipation of more restrictions coming into place after Christmas Day.

NEXT

This week there Next revealed a shake up to their usual Boxing Day festivities by announcing that they will not be opening their doors this year.

The Boxing Day sale is usually Next’s biggest sale of the year, and usually one of the busiest stores of the day with thousands of people rushing to their locations to grab the best deals.

In previous years, Next has opened their doors as early as 06:00, and seen people lined up outside them even earlier, so this will not cause a huge shift in the day.

The company is offering 50% off across all their departments and most of their ranges.

However, in previous years they have increased this to 75% off so definitely keep an eye out for some steals.
