Dozens of adorable dogs and puppies are looking for loving forever homes in Liverpool and Merseyside this February.
Dogs Trust’s Merseyside rescue centre is located on Whiston Lane in Huyton and serves Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton, Wirral and St Helens. The charity can care for up to 85 dogs at any time, and there are many who would love the chance to find a permanent place to call home as soon as possible.
A variety of dog breeds and ages are available for adoption, including Pugs, Greyhounds, Lurchers, Pomeranians, Bulldogs and more. There are even adorable puppies and young dogs ready to find homes.

13. Nala - German Shepherd cross
Nala is a German Shepherd cross up for adoption in Merseyside. Nala can live with children over 16 and needs to be the only pet at home. Dogs Trust have no history for her so cannot guarantee that she is house trained or used to being left by herself for any length of time. | Dogs Trust Merseyside

14. Noodles - Poodle
Noodles is a Poodle who is to be rehomed with his friend Princess. He is house trained but not used to being left, can live with other calm dogs and children over the age of eight. He will need regular coat care and trips to the groomers. Noodles has some age related pain his in spine and legs that will require daily medication. | Dogs Trust Merseyside

15. Kimbo - Lurcher
Kimbo is a Lurcher up for adoption in Merseyside. He can live with other dogs and children of high school age. Dogs Trust have no history for him so cannot guarantee that he is house trained, and he will need someone at home with him most of the day initially. | Dogs Trust Merseyside

16. Princess - Bichon Frise
Princess is a Bichon Frise. She's a quiet dog who settles well at home, possible because she's hard of hearing so not much bothers her. Princess is a friendly girl with both people and other dogs and greets everyone politely. She needs to be rehomed with best friend Noodles. | Dogs Trust Merseyside
