New 'hidden garden' venue opens at Childwall Fiveways

A ‘hidden garden’ coffee shop and matcha bar has opened at the Childwall Fiveways.

A brand-new venue has launched at the Childwall Fiveways, bringing a ‘quiet hidden garden’ to the city.

Located in the former home of Florida Property Corner - just off the well-known roundabout - Arbor & Ivy is the brainchild of Stephany Burns and Lucas O’Hare, and offers ceremonial grade matcha, coffee from Crosby Coffee Roasters, pastries and more, as well as a selection of vegan-friendly milks and desserts.

The exciting new venue held a soft opening on Sunday (February 8), and has officially opened to the public this morning (Monday, February 9).

Teasing the new coffee spot ahead of the launch, the team said: “Framed by greenery and softened by natural light, we’re creating a coffee and matcha bar inspired by European café culture and Japanese ritual — rooted in Liverpool’s deep sense of community.

“This space is meant to be a quiet, hidden garden within the city: a place to gather, pause, and feel at home. We’re committed to giving back to the people and neighbourhood that make Liverpool what it is — through connection, care, and shared moments around the table.”

Arbor & Ivy can be found at 1 Childwall Priory Road.
