Dogs Trust Merseyside are hoping to find foster parents or forever homes for the gorgeous dogs in their care.
Due to the cost of living crisis, the charity has reported that more and more pups are being given to their rescue centre, as owners can no longer afford to care for them.
Nala is a Belgian Shepherd (Malinois) cross. She can be a shy girl but she gets attached to people quite quickly and it shouldn't take her long to form a bond with a new family. Nala gets a little overwhelmed if there's lots going on around her, but in quiet areas she likes to have a good sniff around and is much more relaxed.
14. Defa
Defa is a crossbreed and first joined Dogs Trust in 2013. He really enjoys exploring new places and likes to make sure that he has given everywhere a thorough nosing before relaxing into some playtime. Defa is happy being made a fuss of and will lean into you for maximum coverage! He has been in a foster home for some time now and his carers say he is very intelligent and gentle boy who loves to visit the beach or a beer garden.
15. Danza
Danza is a German Shepherd cross and arrived at the centre with her mum, Millie. Due to their owner's ill health, both dogs were in a poor state and it seemed Danza had been eating mum's share of the food too! She is 7 years old and still active, and she has her nose to the ground as she explores her environment. Danza enjoys being made a fuss of, she's been lacking attention previously so making the most of it just now.
