There are many different pups and older dogs looking for a family to love.
Dogs Trust Merseyside are hoping to find foster parents or forever homes for the gorgeous dogs in their care.
Due to the cost of living crisis, the charity has reported that more and more pups are being given to their rescue centre, as owners can no longer afford to care for them.
Coco is a friendly 4 year old Frenchie who is looking for quite a particular home. She needs a home with at least one woman as she is wary of men. She can’t live with children and doesn’t like being left alone.
10. Pixie
Pixie is a crossbreed and is suited to being the only dog at home. She is interested in other dogs but doesn’t quite know how to behave around them. She tends to approach and then launch into a mad dash about, which the dogs find confusing. With some gentle and correct socialisation outside the house, this should improve but her adopters will need to approach things correctly. She needs an adult only home after reacting to being disturbed whilst sleeping in her bed.
11. Jorah
Jorah is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier who really likes playing tug with his favourite people and generally lapping up any attention. He is over eight years old and has some tenderness in his back legs that may require pain relief in the future.
12. Danza
Danza is a German Shepherd cross and arrived at the centre with her mum, Millie. Due to their owner's ill health, both dogs were in a poor state and it seemed Danza had been eating mum's share of the food too! She is 7 years old and still active, and she has her nose to the ground as she explores her environment. Danza enjoys being made a fuss of, she's been lacking attention previously so making the most of it just now.
