Coronavirus travel rules for people arriving in the UK from abroad have been relaxed.

The changes have sparked a huge surge in holiday bookings, with hundreds of thousands of Brits embarking on a half-term getaway now the simplified rules are in place.

If you are fully vaccinated, you do not need to take any coronavirus tests before travelling back to England or after you arrive.

So we ask the people of Liverpool: is it time to book that holiday abroad, or are you proceeding with caution?

Minnie said: "I think it will definitely encourage people to travel for sure we went to Rome a couple of weeks ago just so we could go on holiday because a couple of us haven't been on holiday in a few years. The most stressful thing was choosing which testing service to go with."

Kemmy said: "I'm going to be going to London to see family because I haven't seen them in ages and I might be going to Italy to see family as well."
