Other community events will still take place around the region, and some people will decide to host displays in their own back gardens.

Hide AdWhile letting off fireworks on your own private property is allowed between 7.00am and midnight on Bonfire Night, they can prove dangerous if in the wrong hands. And, around Merseyside, fireworks can often be heard throughout the night, all year round.
We have been out on the streets of Liverpool to ask to find out what you think about fireworks and whether they should be banned.
- Barbara said: “I hate them. Organised displays only. They’ve started this week, kids are setting them off everywhere.”
- Rebecca said: ”I love them, but my dog doesn’t. I miss the displays we had when I was a kid, I used to go to Sefton Park and they had a Disney display - it was brilliant!”
- Jaquie said: “You can have fireworks, but not bangers. They frighten children, they frighten animals, there’s no need for them. They should ban them.”
- Brian said: ”Children get hurt and they’re too dangerous. They’re too powerful now.”
