The January transfer window opens in little more than 11 days’ time - and Everton have seemingly already completed one piece of business.
Vitaliy Mykolenko is primed to move to Goodison Park from Dynamo Kiev. It’s reported the Toffees will pay around £18 million for the left-back.
But given the current precarious financial situation at the Blues, sales may be required to bring in fresh faces.
Since the summer window slammed shut, there have been no less than 10 players either linked with moves away from Merseyside or reportedly admired by potential suitors.
We take a look at how many, if any at all, could depart Everton midway through the season.
Scroll down to see who’s been linked with a departure and our verdict on each.
1. Jordan Pickford
Antonio Conte’s identified the England international as Hugo Lloris’ replacement at Tottenham, claimed The Telegraph in November. . However, the chances of Pickford leaving in January are very slim. His performance in the 1-1 draw at Chelsea underlined his importance to the team. The England No.1 should be someone in Everton’s long-term plans. Photo: Naomi Baker/Getty Images
2. Yerry Mina
The centre-back has been linked with AC Milan, Napoli and Newcastle in recent weeks. When fit, the Colombia international has been Everton’s best centre-back this season. However, Mina is on the sidelines again after returning from a hamstring injury. He suffered a calf problem in his comeback game against Arsenal. With 18 months left on his deal, a significant bid could well tempt the Blues given his injury record. Photo: Michael Steele/Getty Images
3. Lucas Digne
A departure, at this point, is looking more likely than not after a reported fallout with Benitez over tactics. A swathe of clubs including Chelsea, Juventus, PSG, Atletico Madrid, Leicester and Newcastle are said to be interested, per Mail Online. With Vitaliy Mykolenko set to arrive, Everton could indeed cash in on the France international if the right offers comes in. Photo: Jan Kruger/Getty Image
4. Jean-Philippa Gbamin
Fenerbahce were said to be keen when reports emerged in October from according to Turkish news outlet Sabah. Gbamin’s endured a nightmare two-and-a-half years at Goodison and made just five appearances in total. A departure could be right for all parties. Photo: Catherine Ivill/Getty Images
