‘Everton are sleepwalking into relegation now’ - expert view after Wolves defeat

Everton suffered a fourth successive Premier League defeat as they went down 1-0 to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Goodison Park on Sunday.

Frank Lampard’s men are now hovering above the relegation zone on goal difference - level on 22 points with 18th placed Watford.

The Toffees may have edged the first-half but chances were at a premium before Wolves skipper Conor Coady scored the opening goal just after the break.

Things went from bad to worse for the home side when Jonjoe Kenny was sent off with 13 minutes to go.
