Richarlison will serve a one-match suspension while Demarai Gray’s injury doesn’t look good.

Everton’s attacking options have diminished further.

The Toffees already have Dominic Calvert-Lewin absent with a quad injury. He still won’t be fit for up to three weeks.

And now Rafa Benitez’s side have suffered two further setbacks during the trip to Manchester City.

Everton’s slump continued in form continued at the Etihad Stadium, where they were comfortably beaten 3-0 by City.

The Toffees have now not won in six matches - and worringly lost their past four games.

City monopolised the ball in the first half but had to wait until the 44th minute to break the deadlock through Raheem Sterling.

Pep Guardiola’s men doubled their advantage 10 minutes after the interval through a thunderous long-range strike from Rodri.

And the home side put the gloss on their victory through Bernado Silva on 85 minutes.

Richarlison blow

Richarlison received a fifth yellow card of the season for a rash challenge in the 31st minute.

He will now serve a one-match suspension and will miss the trip to Brentford next Sunday.

Gray’s problem

The Blues will also be sweating on the availability of Demarai Gray.

In the 16th minute of the City clash, the winger limped out and was replaced by Alex Iwobi.

Gray appeared to have sustained a groin issue.

Other injuries

Everton currently have midfielders Abdoulaye Doucoure (foot), Tom Davies (knee) and Andre Gomes (calf) on the treatment table.

Benitez is hopeful Doucoure will be back for the Brentford clash.
