Climbing the Premier League table will be Lampard’s priority although a cup round would also be welcomed by supporters.

Here is all the key information needed heading into the game, with a place in the fifth round and £90,000 in prize money up for grabs.

Everton team news

Lampard will be without deadline day signings Donny van de Beek and Dele Alli.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has suffered a minor knock and is unavailable.

Abdoulaye Doucoure (groin), Fabian Delp (thigh) and Tom Davies (hamstring) are also absent through injury.

Lampard could rest key men such as Jordan Pickford, Demarai Gray and Yerry Mina after he played for Colombia during the international break.

Bees boss Thomas Frank has confirmed he will name a strong team.

Brentford could hand a debut to Christian Eriksen, who signed for the club last month. The midfielder hasn’t played a match since he suffered cardiac arrest at Euro 2020 in June representing Denmark.

Josh Dasilva and David Raya both played in a behind-closed-doors game against Aston Villa on Tuesday and are in contention.

Mathias Jensen also featured for 90 minutes in that game and Rico Henry has trained all week.
