It has now been claimed that Sivasspor, who are 15th in the Super Lig, have made ‘significant progress’ in their attempt to sign Rondon.

Fanatik reports that Sivasspor ‘will push all the conditions’ to sign the forward during the January transfer window.

How likely is it to happen?

Although Rondon's started life at Everton slowly, resulting in him receiving flak from sections of supporters, it'll come as a surprise a potential exit has already been mooted.

Rafa Benitez reunited with Rondon for a third time, having worked together at Newcastle and Dalian.

The Everton boss will know Venezeula's all-time record goalscorer has been operating below his best because of the circumstances.

In behind is Ellis Simms, who signed a new three-year deal on Tuesday. However, he's yet to make his Everton debut and could head out on loan in January.

Teenager Lewis Dobbin has come off the bench twice this term and is highly rated.

However, he may not be quite ready to fill the void.
