All the focus is currently on the January transfer window.
It’s hardly a surprise given that business is open for clubs to secure the signings they feel they require for the second half of the season.
It could be a fairly quiet window for Liverpool, though. Traditionally, they haven’t done much business at the halfway stage.
Still, recruitment plans are constantly ongoing at Anfield. Already, discussions ahead of the summer will be under way.
The Reds love maximising their budget and free transfers have proven shrewd in the past.
Of the current squad, Joel Matip, James Milner and Adrian were all brought in for nothing.
Now Liverpool are able to begin talks with players outside of England who are out of contract in the summer.
There are plenty of potential fresh faces who Jurgen Klopp could look to prise to Anfield and improve his squad.
Here’s a look at some of the best available.

5. Niklas Sule - Bayern Munich

6. Ousmane Dembele - Barcelona
Someone who we know Klopp is a huge fan of, having tried to sign him previously. Dembele is still to commit his future at Barcelona. The winger still has bags of potential aged 24. | AFP via Getty Images Photo: PAU BARRENA/AFP via Getty Images

7. Andrea Belotti - Torino
Not the most high-profile name on the list but Belotti would improve Liverpool’s attacking options. He was a regular for Italy on their way to Euro 2020 glory and has been a fine servant at his current club. 8. Denis Zakaria - Borussia Mönchengladbach
The midfielder has been linked with a host of clubs - including Liverpool. Zakaria has already confirmed to Gldbach that he will be leaving in the summer. He won’t be short of offers. | Getty Images Photo: Martin Rose/Getty Images
