All the focus is currently on the January transfer window.
It’s hardly a surprise given that business is open for clubs to secure the signings they feel they require for the second half of the season.
It could be a fairly quiet window for Liverpool, though. Traditionally, they haven’t done much business at the halfway stage.
Still, recruitment plans are constantly ongoing at Anfield. Already, discussions ahead of the summer will be under way.
The Reds love maximising their budget and free transfers have proven shrewd in the past.
Of the current squad, Joel Matip, James Milner and Adrian were all brought in for nothing.
Now Liverpool are able to begin talks with players outside of England who are out of contract in the summer.
There are plenty of potential fresh faces who Jurgen Klopp could look to prise to Anfield and improve his squad.
Here’s a look at some of the best available.

9. Boubacar Kamara - Marseille
Many Kopites will want Liverpool to sign a midfielder in the summer and there certainly will be cheap options. Kamara has been in flying form as Marseille sit third in Ligue 1. | AFP via Getty Images Photo: FILIPPO MONTEFORTE/AFP via Getty Images

10. Matthias Ginter- Borussia Mönchengladbach
The centre-back isn’t a household name but is a regular for Germany and supposedly wanted by Bayern Munich among others. Klopp will be well aware of Ginter but much could depens on whether Liverpool want another central defender. | Getty Images Photo: Thomas Eisenhuth/Getty Images

11. Jesus Corona - Porto
Has faced Liverpool in the Champions League this season. While supporters would like more attacking options, Jesus has failed to score in 17 games for Porto this season and end product would be a concern. | AFP via Getty Images Photo: MIGUEL RIOPA/AFP via Getty Image

12. Angel Di Maria - PSG
The playmaker has enjoyed a fine career. But aged 33, his best days are behind. Will be a decent signing for someone, though. | AFP via Getty Images Photo: JEFF PACHOUD/AFP via Getty Images
