Liverpool injury news on Alexis Mac Allister.

The former Brighton & Hove Albion man was an unused substitute for Argentina as they were held to a 1-1 draw against Venezuela last weekend. The current World Cup and Copa America holders prepare to face Bolivia in the early hours of tomorrow morning - and they will want Mac Allister available.

In good news for Liverpool, the 25-year-old is back involved in sessions alongside the likes Lionel Messi and Julian Alvarez. But Scaloni has still to decide whether Mac Allister will be ready to face Bolivia. Via TyC Sports, La Albiceleste boss Scaloni said: “Alexis trained normally yesterday and today we will make the decision of whether he is ready to play. We will know after training.”

Liverpool return to action against Chelsea on Sunday and will hope to have Mac Allister available. He has started all seven Premier League game so far, with the Reds topping the table on 18 points.
