Liverpool are now preparing for their Premier League clash with Wolves with their domestic cup efforts for the season now over and done with.

The Reds were knocked out of the FA Cup by Brighton over the weekend, and they can now turn attention to making up ground in the top four race, while they will also have the Champions League to contend with in the back end of February. In the meantime, the January transfer window has closed, with Liverpool having a relatively quiet window, aside from the early signing of Cody Gakpo.

Though, the rumours will continue to pour in ahead of the summer, and with that in mind, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding Anfield.

Bellingham blow

Real Madrid are said to be going all out to sign Jude Bellingham this summer.

That’s according to Diario AS, who say Los Blancos expect the race to sign the Borussia Dortmund to be ‘short and sweet’ despite Liverpool being ‘not a good enemy’. Real Madrid expect to hold the advantage in the race, and they may not be wrong having saved money in the Kylian Mbappe race last summer.

It’s claimed Real Madrid are currently ‘waiting for an answer’ as they look to convince Bellingham and Dortmund ahead of the summer.

Liverpool have been linked with Juventus star Federico Chiesa in recent times, and they could yet make a move for the Italian in the summer.

“Maybe in the summer, he might have the likes of Liverpool and other Premier League clubs looking at him and seeing if they can capitalise on Juventus’ financial situation,” transfer insider Peter O’Rourke told GiveMeSport. Chiesa has been linked with a move away from Juventus, valued at £54million.

The Reds’ signing of Gakpo meant they were not going to turn to Chiesa in the winter window.
