Liverpool player ratings according to the stats experts - three superb but one struggles in Leicester win

Liverpool continued their unbeaten form in 2022 with a routine 2-0 victory of Leicester City at Anfield.

The Reds never got out of third gear as they narrowed the gap to Premier League leaders Manchester City to nine points once again.

Diogo Jota was the man who Jurgen Klopp had to thank. The Portuguese continued his fine goalscoring form with a double either side of half-time.

LiverpoolWorld made Jota man of the match for his contribution.

Meanwhile, we were also impressed with Luis Diaz, who made his Premier League debut following his arrival from Porto in the January transfer window for a fee of up to £50 million with add-ons.

But how did the stats experts rank Liverpool’s players?

WhoScored.com claims that its ratings are “considered to be the most accurate, respected and well-known performance indicators in the world of football” as they are based on a “ unique, comprehensive statistical algorithm, calculated live during the game” taken from more than 200 statistics.
