Bissouma has persistently been linked with a move to Anfield.

He's recognised as one of the best centre-midfielders outside the "Big Six" clubs in the Premier League.

Bissouma has only 18 months remaining on his Brighton contract and they could look to cash in him before his value deflates.

The Republic of Ireland international at a crucial juncture of his career and Shay Given believes Kelleher must depart this month to enhance his promising progress.

Given told Premier Sport: "If it was me, I'd be knocking Klopp's door down, I really would. I'd be saying that I need to go out on loan, go and play.

“January is a time to do that, I'd be on to my agent and manager to get me playing games.

"I think for all parties concerned the best thing would be to go on loan. I think he's good enough to play in the first team, he's a really good goalkeeper. I think he wants to show people that."

The striker remains on the fringes of things at Liverpool despite scoring several important goals down the years.

And Maurizio Sarri is keen to bring Origi to Rome to provide cover and competition to Ciro Immobile, as per Italian newspaper Il Tempo.
