Dogs Trust Merseyside are hoping to find foster parents or forever homes for the gorgeous dogs in their care.
Due to the cost of living crisis, the charity has reported that more and more pups are being given to their rescue centre, as owners can no longer afford to care for them.
Bella is a crossbreed looking for a home without children as her experiences with them haven’t always been positive. She will also need to be the only dog in the home as she lacks confidence around others. She does form strong bonds with people, she just takes her time to trust you as she’s quite insecure. Bella is only two-years-old and loves soft toys.
6. Archie
Archie is a French Bulldog cross, looking for a child-free home. He sadly lost his owner of six years recently, and is hoping to find a new parent to look after him. He is better suited to being the only dog in the home but loves to make friends outside and loves a walk.
7. Frankie
Frankie is a German Shepherd crossbreed looking for a home in a quiet area with adopters that will be more than happy to walk at quiet times and that will invest some time to build up Frankie’s confidence, and work on some social skills slowly and positively. He needs to be the only pet but can live with teenagers.
8. Ellie
Ellie is a Greyhound crossbreed might just be one of the friendliest Greyhounds you’ll ever meet! She greets everyone with level 10 enthusiasm but needs to learn to be just as keen with her paws on the floor. As is common with ex-racing dogs, Ellie’s prey drive is high, and care should be taken around small dogs, cats and other furry beasties. She is between five and seven years old and can live with teens.
