This has most recently been shortened to 13/8 suggesting that a white Christmas in Liverpool has become more likely according to the bookies.
Despite the improved odds of a white Christmas, the Met Office are predicting a damp Christmas for Liverpool and little chance in the way of snow.
It looks set to be a drizzly start to the day, with a 50 per cent chance of light rain through the morning, although this should ease completely by the early afternoon.
