A popular restaurant in a Michelin star hotspot is currently closed to allow works for an exciting new expansion.
Arthur’s of Aughton, located at 69 Town Green Lane, is temporarily closed for works on a large extension to the rear to create more seating.
The dog-friendly bar is a firm favourite with guests for its cheese and charcuterie boards and hand made cocktails.
A spokersperson for the business said: “We’re so excited to share the next chapter for Arthur’s Aughton.
“We’re beginning work on a large extension to the rear, creating a bigger, more comfortable space, expanding our food offering & introducing a space designed to make your time with us even better.”
The wine bar closed on Monday and will reopen for drinks only on Saturday, January 17, whilst the build continues quietly behind the scenes.
The spokesperson added: “This is a huge step for us and something we’ve been planning with great care.
“We can’t wait to welcome you into the new space something special is coming to Arthur’s Aughton.
“In the meantime THANK YOU for your continued support and enthusiasm.”
