Several other top-tier clubs are said to be eyeing the teenager, who is contracted to Bristol City until 2025.

Who is Alex Scott?
After making his debut off the bench in April 2021, Scott has quickly become a mainstay at Ashton Gate under Nigel Pearson.
This season he has featured 23 times, scoring three goals and notching two assists - earning him a call up for the England under-19 team.
Dubbed ‘The Guernsey Grealish’ for both his playing style and appearance - namely his low socks and tiny shinpads - Scott is an attacking midfielder who loves to commit defenders and create openings for teammates.

He is strong with either foot and incredibly confident in his own ability, making the step-up to senior football seamlessly.
He caught the eye of Bristol scouts as a 16-year-old playing for Guernsey, following unsuccessful spells as a kid with Southampton and Bournemouth.
And in his under-18s trial he hit a perfect hat-trick inside 30 minutes.
From there it has been a steady development through the ranks at Ashton Gate and through the England age groups.

This season, Scott has been a massive part of a young Bristol City side that has included Antoine Semenyo (22), Han-Noah Massengo (20), and George Tanner (22) - with an average age of 25.8 in the squad - but Scott is the youngest of the bunch and one of the most influential.
His first goal for Pearson’s side came in October during a 2-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest and in December he scored early to beat Wayne Rooney’s Derby County.
In December he was names as one of the Daily Mail’s 12 young players set to break through in 2022.
