Liverpool failed to get their final signing of the window across the line.

The Reds had long been linked with Fulham wonderkid Fabio Carvalho and eventually made a £5 million bid earlier this week.

Despite seeing their offer accepted yesterday, they were unable to get the deal completed in time for the 11pm deadline and Carvalho will remain a Fulham player until the summer.

The 19-year-old would have only been Liverpool’s second signing of the January transfer window after a very quiet month.

While Anfield has been limited to just the one new face, the club has seen a number of players head for the exit door.

Here is a complete list of all of Liverpool’s ins and outs in the January transfer window...

Luis Diaz

Luis Diaz joined Liverpool for an initial £37 million from Porto.

Nat Phillips

Bournemouth confirmed the loan signing of Liverpool defender Nat Phillips yesterday.

The centre-back was in high demand last month and was thought to be departing permanently, however Phillips will only be joining the Cherries until the end of the season.

Neco Williams

Perhaps overshadowed by Liverpool’s attempt to sign Carvalho, Neco Williams made a late loan switch to Craven Cottage.

The full-back had been linked with a move away all month but didn’t secure a temporary departure until the final hours of deadline day.

Liam Hughes

Liverpool’s academy goalkeeper Liam Hughes has joined Northern Premier League Premier Division side Stalybridge Celtic on loan.
